Rick Walker is a native to Bremerton graduating in the class of 1974 from East
Bremerton High. He led the Knights to two state AA basketball championships.
Rick was selected a high school all-American and small college all-American
at the University of Puget Sound. In 1976, he helped lead the university to
its first NCAA Division II National Championship and is the schools all time
leading scorer.

Rick has been coaching in Kitsap County since 1984 and is presently the boys
varsity head coach at King's West High School. His other coaching experience
includes four years assisting at Bremerton High and four years at Olympic
High School. During this time, he has devoted his time to improving the quality of
athletes and sports in Kitsap County. He, and his wife Bev, have two grown children, Luke and Bekah. |
