The Total Package Red basketball team defeated the Georgia Stars 78 to 62 in their first game of the Kingwood Classic tournament in Houston. Craig Murray coaches the team of players who are from local high schools. The team members include Evan Atwater, Tippy Burk, Ty Curry, Conner Gehring, LP Neloms, and Ryan Sweet from South Kitsap, Steven Gray and Coby Gibler from Bainbridge, and Clarence Trent from Gig Harbor.

The Total Package Red basketball team lost to the Long Island Lightning from New York 78 to 71. Long Island was the champions of the tournament. Total Package led by 13 points in the first half but got in foul trouble and lost the lead.
